Neurotoxins (Botox / Dysport)
Before Your Appointment
  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior
  • Avoid blood thinning supplements 3–5 days prior (if medically appropriate
After Treatment
  • Remain upright for 4 hours
  • Do not massage treated areas
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
Normal Side Effects
  • Mild swelling
  • Redness
  • Temporary headache

Before Your Appointment
  • Use your Alastin Procedure Enhancement Kit starting 2 weeks prior - stop all active skin products (vitamin C, retinal/retinol)
  • Avoid direct sun 4 weeks prior
  • Use Co2 Lift Pro Mask 2 days prior
  • Take antiviral medication if you have a history of cold sores 
  • DO NOT wear makeup the day of
After Treatment
  • Use your Alastin kit for one full week after
  • Use Co2 Lift Pro Mask 2 and 5 days post treatment
  • You may resume use of active products 10 days after or when fully healed, this includes scrubs of any kind
  • Avoid strenuous activity & heat for 72 hours
  • Avoid makeup for 48 hours
  • No sun exposure for 3 to 4 weeks - SPF and hats are crucial
